Tylee (TY) Markael Bellamy

Tylee (Ty) Markael Bellamy, 24, of New Haven, CT entered eternal rest on November 17, 2020. He was born August 8, 1996, to Krystal Woodhouse and Herman Bellamy. Ty attended the New Haven Public School System. His childhood was marked with an energetic spirit. Whether he was with his cousins or the neighborhood kids, there was never a dull moment while in his presence. Everyone loved being with Ty because he was kindhearted and caring. When his little brother Herman Bellamy Jr. (Little Aug) was born, the two were inseparable. He was a protective big brother, who sometimes forgot he was only the big brother and not the dad. Ty’s caring and loving energy continued into his young adult years. He grew to be the ultimate family man who loved being a dad and spending quality time with his children. While growing his own family, Ty enjoyed spending time with his aunts, uncles, and cousins. Ty also enjoyed laughing and cracking jokes with his mother which is where he got his sense of humor. Ty could always be found dancing a two-step, in front of a camera smiling ear to ear, and being a jokester. Everyone knew Ty loved to eat, especially his mother’s home cooked meals. Whenever Ty stepped out, he was always dressed from head to toe and got his sense of fashion from his dad. Whenever mom said, “no”, Ty could always count on Grandma Lorraine to say “yes”, because he was truly a grandma’s baby. He had a young heart with an old soul. Ty was a beloved son, brother, father, nephew, cousin, and friend to many. To cherish his loving memory, Tylee (Ty) Markael Bellamy leaves behind his mother, Krystal Woodhouse and father, Herman Bellamy; his four children Makaylee Newton-Bellamy (Wadesboro, North Carolina), Zyhir Bellamy, Aiden Bellamy, and Niylah Bellamy; his siblings, Herman Bellamy Jr., Hernija Bellamy, Aidyn Bellamy, and Aston Bellamy; his maternal grandfather Scott Diaz and paternal grandparents Lorraine Bellamy and Herman Arrington; two godmothers, Melinda Atterberry-Chapman and Latreese Bass-Atkinson, and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Tylee is predeceased by his maternal grandmothers Andrea Thompson and Verline Woodhouse; his maternal great grandmother, Mary Ella Thompson; his paternal great aunt Valerie Green, and an uncle who he was close to, Levern Bellamy.
