Kimberly Troutman

Kimberly Troutman, born in New Haven, Connecticut on September 27, 1974, affectionately known to family and friends as “Classy K”, transitioned from her Earthly Home to her Heavenly Home on December 12, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born to the late Charlean Troutman and Richard Pugh of New Haven, CT. She attended the New Haven Public School System and graduated from Wilbur Cross High School. Over the years she worked at the Willows Convalescent Home, Lincoln Bassett, Masonicare and was currently employed at Community Social Integration. She was a member of St Matthews UFWB Church, the Unity Choir and the Worship and Praise Choir. She was an active member of the Elm City Cowboys Fan Club of Connecticut where she served as business manager and treasurer. She was also a member of the Pocahontas Temple #55 where she held the position as Trustee, State President of New England, and the former Door Keeper. Ecclesiastes 9:10 says, “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might;” - That’s what Kimberly stood by. Her biggest compassion was to help people throughout the communities. She was someone you could always count on. Kimberly loved her children and grandchildren tremendously. Family was very important to her. She leaves behind a legacy, her children; Tyrone Troutman, Charles Troutman-Ford, Sequina Harris, Alexis Cooper, Jaila Ingram, and her special daughter Tiera Floyd, her seven grandchildren; Zaire Troutman, Sanai Stanley, Tru Troutman, Kyrie Troutman, Gemia Thomas, Kross Troutman-Pugh, and Latrell Holder, two sisters; Shirley Troutman and Yvonne Lewis (Ray), brother Richard Troutman, Richard Pugh, Kenneth Pugh, John Whitley II. Special sisters Bernice Brown and Carla Nelson. Special brother Jamarr Myrick, Favorite cousins Felicia Grimes and Aisha Darden, Special aunts Mommy Netta, Alice Johnson, Carla Williams, Cheryl Naylor (Bobby) Ella Blue, Famous Clark, Sabina Allen, Genia Pugh, Ruth Norwood and Uncles Lawrence Grimes, Dennis Grimes, and Joe Pugh. She is survived by four nieces Tiera Reid, Briana Troutman, Tempie Troutman, and Ashanti Troutman, five nephews: John Whitley, III, K’Jay Smith, Brandon Troutman, Daniel Troutman (special son), and Diante Troutman. Kimberly is survived by a host of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by Aunt Ethel Grimes, Uncles Milton Grimes, Starkey Pugh, Winslow (Johnnie) Pugh, James (Jimmy) Pugh, William (Chris) Pugh and a special uncle Joseph Troutman, maternal grandmother Leona Grimes and paternal grandparents Mamie Pugh and William (Lock) Pugh. Kimberly will be missed and loved by all.
