The family of Horace Orville Claxton sadly shares that on August 1, 2018, Horace Orville Claxton, born on April 27th in the parish of Gingerland on the island of Nevis, peacefully and gracefully transcended into the realm of the heavens, wherein he will dwell with the angels and the most high as a spirit of undying and immeasurable love, generosity, compassion and aptitude. Orville was a magnanimous man with a wholesome reputation that was well-known to his family, friends and associates. He was veracious, talented, supportive to others and resilient. As a native Nevisian, Orville was born to his divine parents: Sadie Claxton and Horace Lawrence. His love and interest in carpentry was developed into a profitable art and business. Orville’s vision and passion for carpentry lead him to formulate and bring his contracting business to fruition in Connecticut. His unblemished name, reputation, refined business and services produced therefrom, is well known to residents and business owners in the Connecticut area. He has created and completed works of unmatched fixtures ranging from that of building, remodeling, restoring and renovating homes and other edifices about and beyond the Connecticut area. Orville was a distinguished man who embodied the essence of unconditional love with a rich and amicable soul that manifested in his captivating smile and eyes. It is through his natural kindness and drive for utilitarianism, that his family and friends will always live his name into infinity. He is survived by his fiancée Rebecca Robinson and sons and daughters, namely: Valerie Claxton, Diedre Liburd, Horace Claxton, Andre Claxton, Shante Robinson and Tyler Claxton. His survival is also continued via his siblings: Valerie Claxton-Barret, Marilyn Roper, Anelda Doway, Gemina Liburd, Tressy Lawrence, Sheila Douglas, Selvin Barrett, Sidney Lawrence, Earl john Kelly, Franklyn Kelly, Wendell Lawrence, Matterson Sargeant, Laurie Lawrence, Faron Lawrence, Kenneth Parris. Further living out his lineage are his gracious grandchildren by way of Valerie Claxton: Hanif Claxton, Omari Christopher, Shameka Christopher, Bennett Votor; his grandchildren by way of Deidre Liburd: Todd Gilbert Jr., Tyreik Gilbert, Lyric Hiracheta, Rhema Woolock, Eddy Woolock and his grandchildren by way of Shante Robinson: Serenity Robinson. His great grandchildren: Hanif Claxton Jr., Symora Christopher, Omari Christopher Jr., Naveah Gilbert and Makai Gilbert are the youthful warriors who will continue to breathe life into the survival of their great grandfather. The family circle of Horace Orville Claxton is a grand and royal one and he is survived by numerous nieces, nephews family and friends. He was predeacesed by his sisters Violet Huggins and Angelita Powell. Horace Orville Claxton, we love you and we will celebrate your life and your love forever.
