Tykon Allen
March 30, 1979 - February 15, 2022
Tykon Anthony Allen blessed his parents Janice Allen and Anthony Duncan Sr. on Friday Marc 30, 1979 at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT as the first Born of their twins. Tykon entered into eternal life Tuesday February 15, 2022 at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT. Tykon, Blizz as he was affectionately called was educated in New Haven Public Schools graduating from Hillhouse High School in 1998. He became an active member and Director of Nation Drill Squad & Drum Corp., where he further discovered his love for music, dance, and choreography. To further expand his portfolio Tykon began to teach classes at Central Connecticut University, Job Corp., City Kids and UDE. In 2015, Tykon branched off from Nation Drill Squad and birthed his own drill team TKO Drill Team to continue a legacy in the drill team world. Tykon will be remembered for his love of God, which was evident by his daily morning worship of the Gospel, and his attendance at Church on the Rock every Sunday. Tykon had such an amazing spirit and love for family, and people. He had such a handsome smile, and an infectious laugh. Tykon had a smooth style and took great pride in his appearance when he stepped out, creative dance moves, and a contagious personality. Tykon has left a huge impression on the youth of his community and most of all the love he showed to everyone he came in contact. Tykon leaves to mourn his memory his mother Janice Allen, Step‐Father Arnold Payne Sr., two‐ sisters Tekenya Allen and Shaqwaveia Payne; two‐Brothers Anthony Duncan Jr. and Jevon Langley; Step‐Sister Latavia Brito, Step‐Brother Arnold Payne Jr; favorite Aunt Jackie Mcduffie, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins as well as his extended family that was birthed from his infectious personality and his deep rooted community relations inclusive of his relationship with Douglas (Titiana) Bethea and the whole TKO and Nation Family. He was predeceased by his Father Anthony Duncan Sr., Maternal Grandparents Mary Smart and James Harris, Aunt Stephanie Smart, Uncle Jerry Smart, Paternal Grandmother Sarah Payne‐ Phillips, Step‐Sister Na’Tosha Gaines, Step‐Brother Quinell Payne and his forever friend Lakia “Kiki” Dunkley.
