Rufus Williams

August 11, 1940 - March 22, 2022

Rufus "Stormy" Williams was born on 8/11/1940 in Yemassee SC to the late Ruth and Robbie Williams Sr. Not too long after graduating from High School he relocated to New Jersey. In 1962 he married Alice. Through that union he gained a daughter Mary and treated her like his own. After separating from Alice he then ended up in New Haven CT. In 1978 he met Juanita and in January 1981 they welcomed a baby girl Tiffany. Rufus was a devoted father, ultimately raising Tiffany as a single dad. He was also a proud grandpa. Rufus is predeceased by his parents as well as his brothers Clyde, Robbie Jr, Joe K, Raymond, Herbert and Dean. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his sisters Hester Brooks, Beatrice Manigo, Carrie Woodard and Jaqueline Williams. Daughter Mary Ghansam and son-in-law Rohan and his baby girl Tiffany Williams. His three grandsons who he loved so much Shawn Williams, Christian and AaRon Lawrence. His good friends John Fredlaw and Mike Davis. As well as a host of nieces and nephews especially Jennie ❤
