Ricky Battle

Ricky Battle entered eternal rest on Monday, February 14, 2022. He was born in Charleston County, Georgia on December 13, 1960 to Pinkie Johnson Bolden and James Carter Battle. Ricky grew up in New Haven, Connecticut and attended the New Haven public school system. He was employed at Matt Construction for many years. Ricky was affectionately known as “Pretty Ricky” He leaves to cherish his memory, his siblings: Roosevelt Bolden (Cynthia), James W. Bolden, Roger Bolden, Clinton Bolden, William Bolden, Danny Bolden (Collette), Pamela Bolden, Joanne Bolden Taylor (Arthur), Willadean Williams (Johnny), Alfred L. Bolden (Dallas), Victor Bolden, Ricky Bolden (Leslie), Denell Battle, Ethel Battle and Evalyn Ann Battle; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Allison Bolden; father, James Carter Battle; grandparents, Pearlie Mae Johnson and James Henry Johnson; and brothers, FreddieBattle and Alton Bolden.
