Laura LeSane

April 27, 1929 - October 13, 2020

Laura Flegler Le’Sane, 91 of New Haven, CT, entered into eternal rest on October 13, 2020. Laura was born in Hemingway, SC on April 27, 1929, loving daughter of the late Walter Flagler, Sr., and Rebecca Wilson Flagler. Laura received her education at Chavis School in Hemingway, SC. Laura met and married the love of her life, the late Freeman Allen Le’Sane, Sr., and the two had five children together, Freeman Allen Le’Sane Jr., Robert C. Le’Sane, Elaine Le’Sane, Floyd Le’Sane and Lloyd Le’Sane. Laura was employed for many years with PFC before her retirement. After she retired, she found great joy in being a Foster Grand-parent with Agency on Aging. Laura has left a legacy which will be carried on by her children, Robert (Rosa) LeSane, Elaine Le’Sane, Floyd (Rhonda) Le’Sane and Lloyd (Deborah) LeSane, thirteen Grandchildren and eight Great-Grandchildren, all of Connecticut. Sister, Sadie Flegler Mack, of Charleston, SC., Brother, Frank (Joyce) Flegler of West Haven, CT and Sister-in-law, Elease “Mae” O’Bryan of Connecticut, as well as a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends. Laura is now reunited in heaven with her loving husband, Freeman; her eldest son, Allen, Jr; parents, Walter and Rebecca; siblings; John W. Flagler, LeRoy Flagler, George R. Flegler, Walter Flegler Jr., Minnie Green and Willa Bea Mention.
