It is with great sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Julie 'Judy' Ann Shepard on Thursday, June 16, 2022. She was born February 29, 1964 in New Haven, CT and was predeceased by her father Douglas Barker and sister Kathy Shepard. Judy was a loving person and a great mother, sister and friend. She was very loved by everyone. She is survived by her son Harry 'J. R. Lewis, Jr., her mother Thelma Louise Shepard; aunts Hilda Gray Taylor and Melva Christine Green; siblings Linda F. Suggs, Chris Shepard and Valentina Shepard; nieces Felisha Suggs, Lacola Shepard, Darlyn Shepard, Cherele Suggs, Ebony McKelvey, Irene Johnson, Tiona Shepard and Tania Harrington; nephews Brandon Shepard, James Shepard, Emerson, Emmanuel and Evonte Harrington; great nieces Ronnaisia Shepard, Tavajia Atkinson, Nevaeh Robinson, Ranyla Shepard, Jules McKelvey, Amaya Harrington and Legacy McKnight-Woods; great nephews Robert Smith, Trevon Shepard, Chance McKnight-Woods, Isaiah Shepard, and D. Shepard; second great niece Kandyce Smith and a host of other relatives. Funeral services provided by McClam Funeral Home will take place Thursday, June 30th, 2022 at Trinity Temple Church, 285 Dixwell Avenue in New Haven, CT from 10a -12p. Please join us for a Celebration of Life ceremony succeeding the services exclusively for family and close friends at Trinity Temple Church.
