Jerome Jackson

Jerome Jackson, affectionately called "Sugar Ray," Age 66 of Bridgeport, passed away 2/21/22 peacefully at home. He was the beloved husband of the late Deborah Jackson. Jerome was born in Manning, South Carolina to the late Eugene Jackson and Edna Billups. Jerome was a retired employee from both Bridgeport Metal Goods; as well as Mahle Industries. He enjoyed spending time with family, listening to music, and watching Westerns. Jerome leaves to cherish his memories, one son, Ronald Conyers of Manning, SC; One stepson, Andre Johnson of Atlanta, GA; and two stepdaughters, Latraya Johnson of Atlanta, GA and Levonbria Johnson of Bridgeport, CT. One brother, Johnnie Jackson of New Haven, CT; 5 sisters. Thelma Grant (Jake) of Bridgeport, CT; Gladys Roach of Stratford, CT; Rosetta Jackson of Bridgeport, CT; Elease Lowery of Bridgeport, CT and Bernice Frierson of Manning, SC. A mother in-law Queen Johnson of Bridgeport, CT; 3 sister-inlaws; 4 brother-inlaws, 11 Grandchildren; and 2 Great grandchildren; and a large host of Nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Jerome is pre-deceased by his wife Deborah Jackson; 4 brothers. Eugene Jackson Jr., James Jackson, Clyde Jackson, and Houston Jackson; and 1 sister; Stephanie M Brand, Aunt- Carrie B. Billups and Uncle- Lonnie E. Billups, Sr.
