Jenise Lawrence

September 3, 1964 - February 28, 2022

Jenise "Necye" Lawrence affectionally known as Big P, gained her wings on Monday, February 28, 2022, with her family by her side. Jenise was born on September 3, 1964, in Bronx, New York to Viola Yarbrough and the late Milus Yarbrough Sr. Her family relocated to New Haven, CT in 1972 where she became a student in the New Haven School system. Jenise accepted the Lord and gave her life to Christ. Reading the Bible and Praying was a part of her daily routine, her and God was besties. She was a Homemaker and Companion for many years. She enjoyed cooking and cleaning every Sunday. Jenise (the human calendar) remembered everyone's birthday and holiday, she even celebrated celebrities birthdays. No matter the occasion she was the life of the party always there to put a smile on your face. Jenise was the strongest woman we know. Jenise was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, wife, aunt, grandmother and friend. Besides her Mother Viola Yarbrough, she is survived by her husband Timothy Buie; children Tiffanie Lawrence, Thomas (Lanasia) Riddick, Tenisha Riddick, Tyron and Terrence Lawrence; her sisters Sheila, Shirley, Darlene Lawrence, Valerie, Anna, Kenya Yarbrough and Josephine Lee; brothers Robert (Rosa) Mazone and Terry Yarbrough. Grandmother of Anthony, Donald, Kyrie, Tanyce, Taloni, Tahmir, Braylon, Kaylice, Tyron "Kahlil", Mynlese, Terrence Jr, and True; aunt Eleanor Whittington and Sarah Winn; a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and God Children. She was predeceased by her father Milus Yarbrough Sr, sister Henrietta Lawrence and brother Milus Yarbrough Jr. maternal grandmother Hattie Whittington, uncle Abraham Hayward, and aunt Virginia Whittington. >> Jenise had her own personal way of expressing her love to everyone before departing you in person or on the phone, leaving an impact on our hearts.
