Jacqueline (Jackie) Denby Simpson of Hamden, CT, born on May 31, 1963 peacefully departed us on May 10, 2022, with loved ones at her side. Jackie's life was filled with laughter, love, and positivity. She was an amazing mother, dedicated nurse, devoted sister, caring aunt, fierce cousin, and a strong friend. Jackie embarked on her journey with the US Military. She then attended Cheyney University, where she pursued her bachelor's degree, and Stone Academy, where she pursued nursing. Jackie was employed at The Jewish Home, Brighton Gardens, and finished her career as a travel nurse. Friends and loved ones knew her as Perpetrator. Jackie loved to shop, sing, dance, enjoy time with family and research her family's ancestry. She leaves a legacy of children and grandchildren who she knows will make her proud. She departed this earth, leaving a mark on everyone she encountered. Jackie leaves behind a host of loved ones: life partner, Craig Hargrove, children, Earl (Ashalie) Simpson, Isis Hargrove, Craig Hargrove Jr, Steven Hargrove, Janeeya Grimes, and Omari Simpson, grandchildren, Chashawn Simpson, Aíla Hargrove, Carlos Ortiz, Asani Hall, and Ezekiel Hall and godchildren, Shardeena Denby, Clifton Mitchell, Vercina Dennis, and Veronica Dennis-Lowery. She also leaves behind her brothers, Sundiata (Stephanie) Keitazulu, Paul Denby, Phillip Denby, God Brother Jonathan Stewart, sister Carlet Denby-Garvin and God Sister Madeline Dennis. She is predeceased by her mother, who was her best friend, Geraldine Brown- Denby, father Reid Denby, brothers Steven Denby, Jimmy Lee Brown, and Godson, Travis "Marzee" Dennis. Jackie will be remembered as the life of the party and a confidant. Her life, memory, and mark on this world will never be forgotten.
