Harold Reid Sr.

June 30, 1943 - March 2, 2022

Harold Lee Reid Sr. was born 06/ 30/1943 in Danville Virginia to the late Lillian Reid and father Bennie Lewis Hunter. Harold entered in eternal rest on Wednesday, March 2, 2022. Harold resided in Winston-Salem N.C. where he lived for many years. Harold worked at Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company for many years to provide for his first wife Edith Reid and 6 children. Harold leaves to cherish his memory, Felicia Denore Reid which is his eldest and one and only daughter, Harold Lee Reid Jr, Michael Anthony (Annette) Reid Sr., Reginald Devon (Kelly) Reid Sr., Howard Steven (Lauren) Reid Sr., Nathaniel Cornell Reid. Harold also had two other children Edward Dewey Imes, Greg Reid. Harold was preceded in death by his second wife Wanda Reid. Harold was also predeceased by his sisters Margaret Howard, Viola Hunter, Mary Hunter. In addition, he leaves to cherish his memories his grandchildren Lakisha Reid, Shamar Marion, Michael (Shantae) Reid Jr., Tyrell Reid, Marquis (Rasheeda) Glass, Marcus Glass, Lanelsha Reid, Howard Steven Reid Jr., Reginald Devon Reid ll, Harold Lee Reid lll, Courtney Bar and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Before he passed he was able to attend his grandson Michael Reid Jr. and Shantae Reid’s wedding, and also Tyrell Reid and Shanti Newman blessed him with his last great-grandchild. He was also able to enjoy the celebration party of his grandson Reginald Reid II. Harold was a man of faith he attended church at Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist and he enjoyed singing in the choir every other Saturday, and congregating with the church members, going to church picnics, and mostly he loved spending time with his family. He spent his free time cracking jokes and he loved watching old movies and sitcoms. Our father will be deeply missed. We love you Daddy RIP.
