Dymen Dash Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Dymen Isaiah Dash age 16 of New Haven, CT sadly passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2022. Dymen’s personality was larger than life. He had such a love and passion for his Violin, the game of Football Coaching alongside Coach Dave and the genuine ability to make people laugh and smile. In fact you would rarely ever not see a smile on his beautiful face. His charismatic charm would rope you right in. He was a hard worker and gave 100% to all that he did. Dymen’s passion for football was indescribable. Dymen had 3 successful seasons with the Amity Spartans and then ventured off to become a Coach for the Spartans. His passion for music was incredible. He has been playing the violin since he was 8 years old. Playing the violin brought Dymen a sense of peace. Dymen’s plans for this upcoming senior year were to graduate apart of the Class of 2023 and go onto Florida State College where he would continue to play the Violin and study medicine to become a Neurosurgeon. He leaves behind a family that he was proud of, who he loved and cared for in any way that he could. He was selfless, kind, gentle, passionate, driven, motivated and most importantly a beautiful young man. He has left behind his beloved parents Jason A. Dash & Angelica Santiago-Dash, his 5 brothers, Jason Jr., Christopher, Marquel, Kevin & Luis, he also had 2 sisters, Monique and baby sister Amelia. Dymen has 2 Grandmothers, Gladys Santiago & Monica Dash, a Great-Grandmother Carmen Rivera. He has 7 Aunts and 4 Uncles. Dymen has left behind a dear Spartan; Coach Dave and the whole Amity Spartan Organization to battle it out on the football field. Dymen has a countless amount of cousins, family and friends that are going to miss him dearly. Family and Friends are encouraged to wear Yellow and Black and are welcome to celebrate his life on Saturday, July 2, 2022 from 12pm-4pm at Trinity Temple Church of God in Christ located at 285 Dixwell Avenue, New Haven, CT. Celebration of Life immediately following at the Church Hall
