Christine Hall

February 19, 1951 - February 20, 2022

Christine Hall of West Haven, CT also known as Aunt Tina to many, entered eternal rest on February 20, 2022. She was born in Camden, South Carolina, (Kershaw County) on February 19, 1951 to the late Fred Belton and Rosalie Walker. Christine later moved to Utica, New York with her mother and siblings and then to Connecticut. She furthered her education and not only obtained her CNA license, but also her cosmetology license. She worked for Mary Wade Nursing Home for 12 years along with countless private duty jobs. In addition to working as a CNA for over 35 years, she utilized her talent and worked as a professional hair stylist. Her love for the Lord and for people was what she was most passionate about. If you ever got the chance to experience her fussing, you knew right away you were loved and that it came from the heart. Christine married the love of her life, John C. Hall on January 29, 1990 in New Haven, CT. She enjoyed going to church and studying the bible, going to the movies, reading encouraging books, cooking, crocheting, going to the beach, driving around the city, even if she had nowhere to go, and being with family. She had a deep love for her family and would always be there to help anyone without hesitation. Christine leaves to cherish her memories, two sons: Raymond M. Belton and Isaiah J. Belton, and two daughters Keshonna L. Belton and Tianna R. Belton. Christine is predeceased by her husband John C. Hall, Father and Mother Fred and Rosalie (Walker) Belton, sisters Gracy Belton and Virginia Belton and brother Cletus Belton. She is survived by two brothers: Willie Belton (Frances Belton) of West Haven, CT and David Belton (Bernadette Belton) of New Haven, CT; two sisters: Rosemarie Belton of Hamden, CT and Karen Belton of New Haven, CT, three grand-sons, four grand-daughters and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
