Cheryl Gilchrist

Cheryl Lee Gilchrist of Hamden,CT departed this life suddenly on Thursday,May 14,2020. She was the youngest child of the late Columbus and Thelma Lee. Cheryl accepted Christ in 2013 and was baptized on March 8, 2014. She loved her Heavenly Father. She was educated in New Haven Public School System and beyond, she was highly trained and educated in the Banking Profession. Cheryl loved to cook gourmet meals, bake and read. Always making you laugh no matter how bad she was feeling. Cheryl was a breast cancer survivor. She leaves to cherish her memories and legacy brother Richard Davis; sister Delores Conner; her beloved nephew Dr. Michael(Viviana) Conner Sr.; her “heart” great nephew Mikey-Michael Jr. ; sister in law Mamie Davis; nieces Oneithea(Kevin) Lewis; Sophia(Rob) Bright; her favorite uncle Robert Louis(Esther) Bolling of Atlanta,GA along with a host of many relatives and friends. She was predeceased by brother Howard Davis and sister Sandra Lee. A special thank you to her ex husband Douglas Gilchrist the love of her life and was with her til the end.
