Alveria Dickerson

Alveria Dickeron of New Haven, Connecticut was born May 26, 1964 in Shoter Alabama to Jean Crockett Alveria gained her wings on January 23rd 2022 at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT Alveria affectionately known as "Pig and Al" was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She carried a beautiful soul and would do whatever you needed without hesitating to tell you about yourself while doing so. She loved to joke and laugh most of all she just loved to love! Pig was always dependable and always had your back. She carried a fiery personality, and an undeniable spark that was enticing and addictive. Her style was just as fierce as her spirit was...Just know when she tucked her shirt in she meant business. Alveria was definitely a force to be reckoned with! She loved gathering with her family and friends, loved to eat and going to the casino with her mother and sisters. She leaves to mourn in her passing her mother Jean Dickerson-Crockett. Two sons James and Jacolby Dickerson of CT. Two bonus daughters Kristen McLaurin of DC and Karissa McLaurin-Watkins (James) of CT. Two grand kids Jazzelle Dickerson and James Dickerson Jr. of CT. Five sisters Siretha Bromell (Patrick), Rosita, Lauriel, Sandra Crockett, and Donette Lewis. One brother Demetrius Crockett all of CT. Nieces Laura of Alabama, Leslie, and Destiny Crockett of CT. Nephews Anthony, Tyrice and Donta Crockett, Patrick and Breyon Bromell, Bryan Butler, Davon Blackwell and Andrew Corley Jr. all of CT great nieces Jayla Moye, Tiffany Elder and Ariana Butler. Special great nephews Anthony Crockett Jr., Marcus Moye and Tremaine Crockett all of CT and one beautiful great great Niece JaMayah Moye of Alabama and a host of aunts, uncles cousins and friends. Alveria was predeceased by her daughter Breia McLaurin who left this earthly world at the tender age of ten. Breia was the light that kept her going until she came and took her mother's hand to join her in eternal rest.
