Victor Jackson

OBITUARY Victor Jackson, affectionately known as VI, of New Haven, passed away on June 18, 2025. He was born to the late Mr. Isaac Jackson Sr. and Barbara Jackson on February 9, 1969, in New Haven, Connecticut. He has two children, Ambermarie Jackson, Victor S. Jackson Jr., and two grandchildren. He was a lifelong resident of New Haven, CT. he graduated from Richard C. Lee High School. Victor continued his education at Gateway Community College for one year and graduated from Technical Career Institute (TCI). Victor had several jobs throughout his lifetime. He worked as a Caddy at Woodhaven Golf Course, in Bethany CT. He was a Manager at Kentucky Fried Chicken, in New Haven, CT. Victor had various other jobs until he started his career with the City of New Haven Board of Education. Victor worked hard as an entry level Custodian all the way to a supervisor position, as a Building Manager/ Head Custodian for 28 years until his untimely death. Victor was soft-spoken, with a smirk like no other. He was meticulous about his cars and washed them daily. He was not great at communicating and expressing his feelings; however, he loved his family and friends. He had a bond like no other with his dad (Jack). This incredible bond was so amazing and allowed Victor to learn how to build long-lasting relationships with everyone in his life. Besides being a hard worker, he enjoyed going to car shows, wrestling on TV and going to events. He even became a collector of different characters. He loved hanging out at bars so much, he became a DJ. He was a member of the Flaming Knights Motorcycle Club. He collected model cars and other various items; however, his favorite pass time of all was playing video games. He loved playing games so much he not only collected video games, but he also collected gaming systems too. Victor was predeceased by his father, Isaac (Jack)Jackson. He leaves to carry on his Legacy: His mother Barbara Jackson; daughter Ambermarie Jackson; son Victor S. Jackson Jr.; two grandchildren all of New Haven, CT; brother Isaac Jackson Jr of New York; Aunts, Mrs. Mary Alice Williams of Georgia; Mrs. Mary Floyd Jones of Alabama; Mrs. Pinky Floyd of Alabama; Uncles, Willy Floyd (Linda) of Connecticut; Dr. McAuthur Floyd of Alabama and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends to cherish his memory. He will be missed by his family and friends. He will never be forgotten!!
