Timothy Mabry

Deacon Timothy Elijah Mabry known as, Deac, Red Fox, Scrappy, T-bone, Birdman but affectionally known by his family as TIMP or UNCLE TIMP. Deac was born to the late Thomas and Pastor Lillian Tyson-Mabry, in Wilson, North Carolina on June 11, 1957. He attended North Carolina Public School system and graduated twice from high school due to him relocating to Connecticut with his family. He attended and graduated from Darden Vick High School in Wilson, NC and at Hillhouse High School in New Haven, CT. He is the youngest of 11 children whom all adored him. Timp was a caring, resourceful and straight forward man who throughout his lifetime devoted himself to his religion and a willingness to help others around him. He loved to drive down south to visit his hometown and family. He had motorcycles, cars that was clean and always spotless. All the latest technical gadgets out even if he didn’t know how to work it. He was a very organized and tidy man; he didn’t like a messy house. He worked at many transportation companies, obtain his CDL in the 80’s and drove all over the US. He drove for Dattco school bus company, chemicalemic truck company and worked on cars at Chuck n Eddies. He’s made lifelong friends with students and coworkers that ask about him till this day. HE NEVER MET A STRANGER Timp had the ability to change the Ora in whatever room he walked in. His keen sense of humor and witty personality would always win people over. EVERYBODY LOVED UNCLE TIMP. Bad days around him were few, he would have you laughing till your cheeks were sore. He would sometime be cracking up at himself with some of the things he would say to people. Your encounter with him would always start out as “WHAT UP MY NIGHA” with his long arms swinging around for a hug or dap. He had a lot of wisdom never ran away from someone wanting to talk to him or confide in him. He would give you great advise and never told your secrets. He was intelligent, crazy, funny, and a hardworking man that can put his hands to anything and make it work. Directions where? Devoted to helping you out; if you called, he came running to help fix whatever was wrong. Timp had a love for music and cars, he was a self-taught auto mechanic. He was a devoted drummer for most of his life, playing for the likes of Shirley Caesar and many other talents. Teaching his nephews, grandsons, and other young men how to play the drums. He was a member of Evening Star Holiness church for many years under the leadership of his mother Pastor Lillian Mabry. Until relocating to Holy Nation S.O.P. where he was a devoted Deacon and Trustee for many years under the leadership of Bishop Mary Walton. An loved ordained Deacon of Holy Nation, where he would carry out whatever our leader asked of him. He was loved by his church family and youth department. Timothy LOVED GOD; his faith carried him through a lot of his life challenges. Timp, was a father to nothing but girls, he loved his children. He would do anything for his girls. people would tell him that his girls were beautiful, and he would respond “I KNOW”. HE IS GOING TO BE SOOOOOOO MISSED… Although Timothy Mabry passed away on the 29th of August, his soul will continue living on through his loving family, friends, his amazing wife and his beautiful daughters. We know that GOD is pleased to have this kind generous angel back in his arms, where he belongs. He will be sorely missed here on this earth. Deacon Mabry leaves to Cherish his wife of 30 years Barbara Crockett-Mabry, 8 Daughters Tashy'rah Mabry, Timyka Crockett, New Haven, CT, Keyona Crockett, Meriden, CT Clinteshia Brown(James), Shabrena Hammond(Tory), Tiffanie Harrington, Sherese Harrington, Syreeta Mooring, all of New Haven, CT and Adoptive Daughters Troyana Howard, Kimtashia Darden and Shaquan Whitfield of New Haven,. 13 Grandchildren Neriah, Marlazjah, Demetrius Jr, Timothy, Burnell, Shar'ron, Antonio, Nathaniel, Jaeda, Nicole, Kenaz'jah, Kenez, and Kazumi. 1 God-Granddaughter Trinity. 3 Great grands, DeAndre, Dream and Journey.
