Robert Michael Faulk-Dill

Beloved son, grandson, brother, father, cousin and nephew, Robert Michael Faulk-Dill of New Haven, Connecticut passed to rest in the arms of our Heavenly Father on Monday, June 25, 2018 at the age of 21. Rob was born December 13, 1996 to Nichole (Dill) Lee and Robert Faulk. Rob was a passionate young man who loved God, his family, and friends. As a little boy, Rob loved going on family trips with his dad and brother. He enjoyed playing football and basketball and most of all he took pride in mentoring his younger cousins in North Carolina. While residing in Baltimore Maryland with family, Rob fell in love with photography and music and begin assisting on sets with some known celebrities and then took on booking his own photo shoot sessions upon returning to CT. Rob spent most of his high school years at Hyde Leadership in Hamden Connecticut, where he played football. However, in his junior year he transferred to Hillhouse High School where he graduated in June of 2014. Following graduation Rob enrolled into Gateway Community College and sought employment and volunteer opportunities to help others. He worked as a youth counselor for LEAP New Haven, and became a volunteer Daycare Assistant at a local daycare. On November 27, 2017 Rob and his love Donjah welcomed Rob’s most precious treasure to the world, their daughter Riley Milan Dill. Rob was a proud father, eager to tell and share stories about Riley to any and everyone who would listen. Rob leaves to cherish his memory: his loving mom, Nichole Lee (Johnny) His loving dad Robert Faulk (Shawana) his precious daughter Riley, his loving companion and mother of his daughter, Donjah Burruss. His five loving sisters, Skylet, Nadia, Destinee, Janae of New Haven, CT and Laya of Whispering Pines, NC his three loving brothers, Malik of New Haven CT, and Jason and Wendell of Whispering Pines, NC., his aunts, Beatrice Roman (Jason) and Kenya Dill, uncles Hosea Blue, Mark Blue (Erica) Terrance Dill (Mya), Christopher Dill (Stephanie) and James Dill, Godfather Michael Harris (Sherri). His great-grandmother Corene Parker of Albemarle NC and mostly his two grandmothers who adored and loved him unconditionally, Gladys John, Whispering Pines, NC and Sandra Dill of New Haven, CT. His papa James Dill along with a host of family and friends. Robert is predeceased by his Uncle Matt Blue, his Great Grandmother Mary Dill and His Great Grandfather John T. Parker.
