Randy Brunson

Randley M. Brunson, affectionately known as Randy, was born to Eloise and Wallace Brunson Sr., March 7, 1958 in Sumter, South Carolina. Randy entered into eternal rest on September 22, 2021 at Yale New Haven Hospital – St. Raphael Campus, New Haven, Connecticut. Randy graduated from Richard C. Lee High School in 1976. He retired from St. Raphael’s Hospital after working 35 years. He loved to watch all news stations especially CNN and he made sure everyone around him was kept well informed of ALL news events happening around the world. He enjoyed watching all sports, however; he was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys and New York Knicks fan. He loved listening to music and was always excited when he heard someone playing the guitar. He would say, “listen to that boy riding that guitar! He also enjoyed feeding the birds every morning. He loved to eat but he always kept a hidden stash of sweets! Randy was blessed for 26 years to have shared his life with the love of his life, Willie A Frazier. They were lifelong partners and longtime friends. He was a devoted father and grandfather to their 3 children and 3 grandchildren. His firstborn granddaughter, Quinteira (Quinny) Frazier and her pop shared a special bond. He shared many special moments together during his last five years teaching her life lessons and how to accurately report the news to others! He will truly be missed by all those who loved and cared for him. His warm smile and giving heart will certainly be irreplaceable. Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Eloise and Wallace Brunson Sr., and his brother, Robert L. Brunson (Pro). (Sisters) Shirley Singleton of Manhattan, NY; Lucille Galloway of Hamden, CT. (Granddaughter) Quinteira J. Frazier of Milford, CT; (Granddaughter) Storri K. Honore of New Haven, CT; (Grandson) Aiden Malik Frazier-Honore of New Haven, CT. (Uncles) Walter (Georgia) Brunson of New Haven, CT; Archie Brunson of New Haven, CT; (Aunts) Martha Corbin of Baltimore, MD and Evelyn Davis of Baltimore, MD. Randley M. Brunson also leaves to share his memories with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
