Mary Elizabeth Barton passed away Aug. 4, 2009. Born Jan. 3, 1949 to the late Lizzie Harris and Willie Fletcher Barton Sr. She was educated in the New Haven school system and worked as a machine operator at Pratt Whitney. She was a faithful member of House of Jacob Church. She leaves to cherish her memories 2 beloved daughters Leshe Barton and Corelle (Terry) Wallace, both of New Haven. 3 sisters Virginia Harris of Patterson, NJ, Charlotte Harris of Lynchburg VA, and Ann Gaines of New Haven and 1 brother Benjamin Barton of Hamden, CT, 5 grandchildren Torri Barton, Shanna Barton-Fletcher, Xavier Bailey, Jarden Barton-Fletcher, and Tiffany Williams all of New Haven, 1 Great-grandchild Nazir Mateo and a host of Nieces, Nephews and other relatives and friends who she loved dearly. She also leaves behind a life-long companion Jack Brown. Mary predeceased by 1 sister Katherine Ann ?Kat? Ulmer, and 2 brothers Willie Fletcher Barton Jr. and Paul Harris. Funeral service will held Thurs. Aug. 13, 2009 at 11 a.m. at House of Jacob 142 Canton St. West Haven, CT. Calling hours will be begin at 9 a.m. until time of service. Interment in Evergreen.
