Jacqueline Harris-Warren

Jacqueline “Jackie” B. Harris Warren passed away peacefully at her home in West Haven, Connecticut, on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, after a lengthy battle with ALS. Jackie was born on January 14, 1965, in New Haven, Connecticut, to the late Walter Harris, who was born in Louisburg, West Virginia, on July 19, 1934, and passed away on October 31, 1993, and the late Betty Miller Harris, who was born in New Bern, North Carolina, on November 25, 1932, and passed away on December 26, 1989. Jackie was Raised in New Haven,CT graduated from James Hillhouse High School before dedicating her life to caring for others through her work as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Her gentle spirit, unwavering faith, and warm presence touched countless lives and will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Jackie was a woman whose life reflected kindness, strength, and selfless love. Her faith served as the foundation of her joyful and giving spirit, and she always opened her heart and home to anyone in need. She had a radiant smile that could brighten even the darkest days and a comforting presence that brought peace, laughter, and encouragement to family and friends alike. Jackie loved deeply, cared endlessly, and created a legacy rooted in love and devotion. She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband of 41 years, Richard Warren; her loving children, Richard Warren, Wilneaka Harris, Tyrick Warren, Rickqueal Warren, Ricktrel Warren, and Rickkiria Warren; her beloved stepdaughter, Ebony Miller; and her cherished siblings, Pat, Rodney, Cindy,Carol Harris and Fay Harris. Jackie’s legacy also lives on through her 18 cherished grandchildren: Branazia Walton, Dejohnia Moye, Amaya Moye, Kyreese Brown, Zayla Morrison, Teniya Warren-Hudson, Zynasia Warren, Kamyia Moye, Kareem Moye, Tyairhia Miller, Kaiyana Warren, Shaniya Miller, Londyn Miller, Kayceon Moye, Richard Warren Jr., Tyrick Warren Jr., Torick Warren, and Rickai Warren. Jackie was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Walter and Betty Harris. Aunt Beatrice Woodard and Brother in law Jack Warren Her beautiful spirit, enduring strength, and unconditional love will never be forgotten. Though she is no longer physically with us, the warmth she gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved her. May she rest peacefully in eternal grace.
