Ella Mae Shaw of New Haven Passed away Jan. 14, 2009. Born on December 5, 1941 in Kingstree, S.C. to the late Mr. Randy and Ella Mae McKnight. Ella Mae attended the public schools of Williamsburg County. She was a member of Black River Baptist Church of S.C. Ella Mae leaves to cherish her memory, daughters; Aimee Shaw of West Haven, Mrs. Ruby Harrison-Hayward of Kingstree S.C., April Matthews of West Haven, and Cherokee Matthews of New Haven. Her wonderful grandchildren; Chirese Hoskie, Arnasia Matthews, Justin Rhodes, Shannon Harrison, Crystal Keisha Gore of Kingstree, S.C., Tiffany Gore, Tyrone Harrison of Kingstree, S.C., Eric Harrison of New Haven, Jonas Sowell of New Haven, Carletta Shaw, Shiretta K. Porter of Kingstree, S.C., Sheila Goolsby of Kingstree, S.C., Leroy McKnight, Larhonda Skillman of New Jersey and Lashonda (Jaheem) Godwin of Baltimore, Maryland. 34 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, daughter-in-law Carolyn McKnight, she also leaves to cherish her memories her special praying partner Ms. Delores Coleman and a host of other relatives and friends. She also attended St. Stephens Pentecostal Church in New Haven for several years. She was married to the late Willie Shaw in which they shared a loving union over 40 yrs. Mrs. Shaw was predeceased by her loving son Leroy Mcknight and 7 siblings. Funeral service will be held Jan 22, 2009 (Today) at 11 a.m. at St. Stephens Pentecostal Church 856 Congress Ave. New Haven.
