Danny T. Lowery

Danny T. Lowery,58 of New Haven,CT was called home to be with the Lord on March 11,2020 after a long illness at the Connecticut hospice in Brandford,CT. Danny was born in New Haven,CT on September 30,1961 to the lye Corrine Lowery and Hugh Jackson Gulley. He was the husband of his loving wife Cathy Strother Lowery. Danny was educated in New Haven Public School system, he graduated from Wilbur Cross High School in 1980. He also had seven places of employment such as Chuck Restaurant, Discount Furniture, and he was successful employed by Yale University where he worked for 20years before his illness. Danny has a green thumb he had a special love for plants and dogs. Danny treated his plants and dogs like they were human. Danny loved riding bike, he rode his bike everywhere he went he also enjoyed playing cards, hanging out with his friends, traveling, and spending time with his family especially his grandkids. Danny was known and loved by many in the community and everywhere he went for his kindness he showed to others. He has a really big heart. Danny was known to some as Blue and Chicken wing, and to all the children whom he loved dearly he was the candyman. His hair was his pride and joy he had more waves than the ocean. If you knew Danny you knew that he had a nickname for everybody. Danny kept you laughing he always had something funny to say. He was most defiantly the life of the party. In addition to his loving wife Danny leaves to honor his legacy his daughter Fallon Tindal, son in law Devin Tindal; 3 beautiful grandchildren, grandson Devin Tindal Jr. and granddaughters Danielle and De’Andrea Tindal all of Sumpter,S.C. 2 special nephews that he helped raise James Douglas of New Haven,CT and Zaire Frazier of Bristol,CT; 3 sisters Lasandra Langley(Thomas) of Hemingway,S.C; Arlene Brown(Jeffery), Jacqueline Lyde(Steven); 2 brothers Hugh Lowery(Vanessa) and Geary Lowery all of New Haven,CT; Mother-in-Law Vergie Stronger; brother in laws James Washington,Roderick Strothers(Best Friend),Eric(Kimberly) Strother and Perry Flowers, sister-in-law Patricia Washington all of New Haven,CT, One Aunt Wilma Lowery of New Haven,CT, 4 Uncles William(Martha) Lowery of Fairbluff,N.C, Tim Anderson of Salma,Alabama and Jessie Anderson of Chicago,Illinois; Buddy Jackson of New Haven,CT. A special friend Benjamin Stancil of N.C; 6 godchildren Judith William,Roberte West,Joseph Miller,James Sayles all of New Haven,CT; Tywionne Williams Sr. And Tywronne Williams Jr. of S.C and a host of nieces,nephews,cousins and friends.
