ASH-Shaun Jerome Boston of New Haven Connecticut gained his heavenly wings on January 16, 2026 ASH-Shaun Boston was born to Shelia (George) Samuels and Aslley (Valerie) Rockhead on June 17, 1991, in New Haven Connecticut. ASH-Shaun, known in his younger years as (Alley), attended high school at Hyde Leadership Academy in Hamden, Connecticut, and college at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, Connecticut, where he became known as "Boston". Boston had a strong passion for sports, in particular football, which he loved, he was often featured in both the high school and local newspapers, highlighting both his performance, and numerous awards, including the '2007 Hyde Football Award." "Academic leadership award," and the "Play it, smart student athlete of the year award.".He worked at United Site Services in Branford Connecticut for many years where he was a devoted truck driver.Boston loved his family which he was very protective over. Making sure he told everyone he loved them. He made it a priority to always encourage family and friends. Boston was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Albert and Mary Boston of Bennettsville, South Carolina, who resided in New Haven Connecticut. Paternal grandparents, Arthur, and Maudlyn Rockhead of Jamaica. Aunt Annette Hellamns, Cousin Jermarvin Izell Brown, baby cousin Kenzo Izell Durrant all of New Haven, Connecticut. Boston's legacy continues through his five year old daughter Malia Renaye Boston. He loved her unconditionally, the two of them shared an inseparable bond enjoying every moment with each other. Malia will truly miss all the playful times she had with her dad, her biggest hero. He is survived by his sister, LaShonda Renia Boston, of Hamden Connecticut, and his Nieces NiJauh Moena Boston-Williams and Na'Riah Morgan Chambers. Aunts Maryann (Rohan) Newland and Shellette (Chris) Durrant, of New Haven, Connecticut. Cousins Sharonda (Dejon) Boston. Marquise Albert Boston, Shanay Monique Hellamns, Teressa Durrant, Shakira Monae Blake. God Children, Trinity Jones, Dream Waller, Jamal Mayisonet, Norel Guess and a host of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins he leaves many loving, family and friends.
