Annie Williams

Annie L. Carmichael-Williams December 25, 1956 - April 11, 2025 Annie L. Carmichael - Williams, 68 of New Haven, CT entered into eternal rest surrounded by her loved ones on Friday, April 11, 2025. Annie was born to the union of James & Grace Carmichael, the 8th of 12 children born in Camden, NJ. The family then relocated to Ansonia Connecticut when she was 8yrs old and then to New Haven CT where she was enrolled in the New Haven School System. She graduated from Richard C. Lee High School. Annie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her boys and them grands. Annie was the sister, aunt and cousin her family knew they could call to get a good conversation going and that was signaled by her favorite saying, “whatttttt, that’s the devil” or you might even get, “that’s a demon” (in her voice). In 1976 she gave birth to her first son Jermaine L. Carmichael. On June 21, 1986 she married the love of her life Herman Williams and to that union Wayne Williams and Derrick Williams was born. Annie cherished her relationship with the Lord and was a faithful member of the Body of Christ Assembly under the leadership of her late uncle Apostle H. Carmichael. In 2002, she joined Kingdom Love Center under the leadership of her brother Bishop Frankie & and the late Dr. Kim Carmichael where she was a faithful member until her health declined. Annie Carmichael-Williams leaves to cherish her memories her sons, Jermaine L. Carmichael (Shay) of West Haven, Ct and Wayne Williams of New Haven Ct., her step children Winston, Joan, Kareem, Donald, Norma, David, Paul, Patricia, and Hermine Williams. Six grandchildren Jermaine Carmichael Jr. (Jazmine) of New Britain, Ct Jalen, Jameyah, Jaianna and Jebron Carmichael and Keziyah Williams, all of New Haven, Ct and one great grandson, Jaxon Lee Carmichael, her god-daughter Ebony Dasilva, her brothers James W. Carmichael of West Haven, CT and Bishop Frankie Carmichael of Hamden CT, her sister Essie Mae Jones (Todd) of West Haven, CT. and a host of nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her Husband Herman Willams, son Derrick Williams, parents James and Grace Carmichael, her maternal and paternal grandparents, sisters Juanita, Arlene and Christine Carmichael Dr. Kim Carmichael and brothers Benjamin, Lindy, Johnny, Herbert and Billy Carmichael. Annie will forever live in the hearts and memories of her children, grandchildren, family and friends.
